Are you a Chinese Director working in the UK with management liabilities?
Are you interested to hear how the Chancellor˙s Budget 2010 might impact you on a personal tax basis?
KPMG and Marsh are hosting an afternoon event dedicated to highlighting the personal tax implications and management liabilities of directors and officers of Chinese companies in the UK, and the strategies and solutions developed to overcome these.
Driven by the financial crisis, litigation against directors and officers has been steadily rising. If shareholders or customers suffer financial loss, either indirectly or directly as a result of management oversight or a failure to carry the duties prudently, lawsuits can be imposed against you. A director˙s personal assets such as his house, savings, pension funds and other holdings can be seized to pay for the claims.
KPMG will provide an overview of the UK tax regime and recent developments and also tax efficient planning for an assignment to the UK including specific tax reliefs and deductions relating to a UK assignment.
Please contact Michelle Zhou at Marsh if you wish to register for this event.
