Marsh consultants recognised in Business Continuity Awards
London, 29 May 2009
Two consultants from the Risk Consulting Practice at Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser, received top industry accolades in this year's Business Continuity Awards, which were announced in London on 27 May.
Hugh Morris, Managing Consultant and team leader for Business Continuity Management in the North of the UK, won the Business Continuity Consultant of the Year category; and Jack Armstrong, a Business Continuity Consultant, was Highly Commended in the Newcomer of the Year category.
Mr Morris received the Business Continuity Consultant of the Year award in recognition of his visionary approach to business continuity, his ability to create innovative solutions, and his constant striving to meet clients' business continuity needs.
Mr Armstrong, who has worked at Marsh for just a year following graduation from university, was Highly Commended in the Newcomer of the Year category amid stiff competition for his excellence in delivery, his passion and fresh approach, and ability to consistently deliver on clients' expectations.
Martin Caddick, Leader of the Business Continuity Management team at Marsh, commented: "It is often said that people are an organisation's strongest asset and I am delighted the Awards have recognised the outstanding attributes of Jack and Hugh. I am proud of their achievements this year, the continued success of the team and that of the clients we work for in the Awards, which is testament to our abilities and the overall strength of the Business Continuity Management team. Our thanks go to Continuity, Insurance and Risk magazine, the Business Continuity Awards and the judges for recognition of our efforts on behalf of our clients."
