Irwin to lead Marsh’s new client development across EMEA

London, 17 June 2009
Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has appointed Neil Irwin to lead the firm’s new client development across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Mr Irwin will report to Chris Lay, Managing Director, Client Development and Head of Middle Market, EMEA.

In this newly-created, role, Mr Irwin will work closely with Marsh’s business leaders across EMEA to increase new sales activity, with responsibility for delivering on Marsh’s new growth plan. In particular, he will focus on increasing renewable business and market share growth.

Mr Irwin has worked at Marsh for 20 years and has held numerous senior client development roles. Previously, he was Managing Director, UK Southern Region and Head of EMEA Middle Market Client Development.
