Research and publications
Marsh and Legal Business have conducted research in January 2009 into the risks of the largest law firms in England and Wales.
The survey results revealed that the economic downturn has produced new risks for Britain’s leading law firms. Four-fifths of respondents believe that recession had increased the risks facing their firm in the past 12 months. 
With the marine Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs’ annual reports and accounts due for release on 20 February 2009, Marsh’s Marine Practice client adviser, ‘P&I Pre-renewal review 2009’, analyses the trends and developments in the marine P&I market throughout 2008, and identifies the impact on Club finances, and the consequences that will be felt by owners.
Marsh and Chubb in the UK have recently conducted a study into the perceptions amongst lawyers of current insurance solutions in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The survey delves into both the buyer-side and seller-side perspective as it analyses which insurance solutions are used to successfully aid the completion of an M&A transaction.
